I just saw "The Royal Tenenbaums". Fucking crazy story, but I loved it- there's something I love about pointless stories that I'll never really be able to understand.

... This is about the most relaxed I've been in a very long time. I think I'll go sleep- not because I'm tired, but because I've been finding no small joy in it.

I've come to rest, over rushed tires and caffeine, at the place my father calls home. The walls and floors have changed, and he's really put his heart into this place- it's as though he wants to stay here, to grow roots and whatnot. And I suppose it leaves me feeling... Happy ( Read more... )

I had possibly the most disturbing dream last night that I've ever had to date. I would describe the dream, but all that lingers with me at the moment is the feeling as though something has been utterly defiled, and the melodic screaming.

It's almost 5am, and I have the sort of headache that comes from one's body thinking it's time to sleep when in reality, you woke up only a bit ago feeling refreshed. Odd how sleep schedules try to reinforce themselves ( Read more... )

As of late, I've been attempting to be as aware as I can do my surroundings. I'd go into detail, but it's really simple- just trying to pull out every individual sensation I come across and coming to appreciate it.

I'm sure sensory deprivation does something like this, but for one's brain as opposed to one's nerves.

... And I'm ranting.

I often think about just what power means to me. Since I was young, I always was into the concept of being the dominant one- the one in control of the situations, the one ahead of the game. Tonight was an odd night. I can't really explain it, but tonight was a blur of interaction on a site I originally meant to mindlessly troll, but ended up getting caught up in it.
