I love DS9 and Firefly so I can't help but comment. But don't tell me why you like me, cuz I hate most memes (unless it's a book or drabble meme--also liked one recently where you could send people in fanfic to hell--I think I need to revise it)

All right, you don't need to do this one. ;-) I'll tell you why I like you anyway...

You are never afraid to speak your mind, even when you know people will disagree with you. But you are also very accepting of other view points, and I've never seen you attack another person, even when there is a disagreement. Also, you have some of the most interesting obvservations on things that many people don't even notice. Oh, yeah, and you're willing to beta my nonsense. ;-)

Though seriously, wank is never worth it, and when I've succombed with a sharp remark, I *always* regret it. You wind up hurting not just yourself, but often the very people you want to defend.

I think that's the hardest lesson I had to learn in fandom. That often the best thing I could do for a friend attacked is shut up.

Worf? Really? I actually met him (without the makeup at an air show... very tall.

Michel Dorn? He always seemed tall in the shows. I just really liked the character of Worf, someone never quite sure where or how to fit in. He also has a great voice, I think.

And since this was my 'Spread the love' post, here's a few things I like about you (but you needn't do it yourself, since you didn't ask). Your sense of humor for one; in chat you're able to make me laugh. Also you're a fellow animal lover, be it your new puppy, your piggies or others. You're just fun to interact with.

Arse. The first time I took this quiz, I got Firefly. This time, I'm DS9. I've never even seen an episode of DS9. I must be a Ferengi in denial. Again, I say, Arse. :D

I haven't really interacted with you enough to post a good 'Spread the love' comment about you, but I will say that having just started to read your stories, you have a wonderful way with a phrase, and a wicked sense of humor. And you like Okapis. ;-)

I'm still trying out things with my LJ, and I've yet to find a style that I really like. With my laptop screen I usually like a black background better, but it doesn't always look good with LJ. The tags though, are great. I've only been tagging posts for a little while, and need to go back through some, but it seems to be an efficient way to organize.

Since we've only been friends for a little while, I'll just say that I've found your entries to have a wonderfully different perspective, that makes me think. I loved your Advent comments and music. And as you commented, you like cats, how can I resist that? ;-)
