Hi everyone.  I just wanted to pop in and let everyone know that the reports of my falling off the edge of the earth are somewhat exaggerated.  Hubby and I simply suffered a vicious attack of Real Life that left us with little free time and minimal computer access.  Thank you to everyone who checked up on me.

Um... do you know yet what you're doing when? I just pulled a Snape out of the hat since airfare was just dumped on me this last minute. What I mean to say is I shifted our travel to Toronto slightly, and we now have a day and a half in New Orleans. I haven't registered for the conference at all, but if everyone is getting togehter at some point, I'd love to join in. I don't even know who all is going.

So good to hear from you, my dear! bambu345 and I were just saying the other night that it had been a while since we'd heard anything out of you. I understand about RL, though ... I haven't been on LJ all that much myself lately. (New job training -- lordy, it's worse than being back in school!)

I hope you have a good time in Toronto. It may not be N'awlins, but I'm sure the two of you will find something to fun to do when not at the conference. Have a safe trip!!

Congratulations on the new job! I hope it works out well for you and doesn't leave you too exhausted. New training can be so intimidating, no matter what your previous experience.

RL has been a bit rough on hubby and me, and I’ve really missed the fanfic and LJ communities. Interactions so completely unrelated to work or RL are actually quite relaxing for me. (as long as I can avoid the wank) I know I’ve been AWOL for awhile, and Bambu even gave me a nudge last week motivating me now that things are settling down a bit to get back online. Hopefully now I can spend some time with my f-list and some quality smut fanfic.

The Toronto thing is completely last minute; someone else couldn’t show up for a presentation, so hubby got suckered into it. We’re going to try and spend Memorial Day weekend at Niagara Falls though. It was so gorgeous when we were there last autumn I’d love to spend some more time there.

I'll try not to be such a stranger, but I can't promise that I won't be somewhat strange. ;-)

We are planing on spending Memorial day at Niagara Falls, since we actually now fly into Buffalo, so that part of Toronto should be okay. And since they left the airfare to me - very very last minute I might add - we now seem to have a day stop over in New Orleans. *hides from hubby* I guess I was just getting to envious of everyone else.

Ask, and ye shall receive. This is from the auspices of the great and gracious renitaleandra. Just go to her LJ, comment and ask, and she'll send you the codes. She uploads them to her LJ--the images, then just sends in an email what you have to copy and paste over.
