it seems that children's shows that focus on developmental stages never last as long as shows that are insipid and bland. but then again, that probably has to do with the fact you have to know what you are doing and have to put thought and research into the prior.
The other major problem is that no one wants to talk about sex to teens anymore. There is the belief that if you don't talk to kids about sex, they won't do it. instead if you don't talk to kids about sex, you just leave them unprepared for when they have to make the decision, and are left vulnerable to social and media messages that turn kids into sexual objects.
