So I'm a little torn on the Katy Perry on Sesame Street thing

On one hand, her outfit wasn't all that horrible. Parts were covered and it looked like she was playing dress-up

On the other hand, we do have a problem with the over sexualization of our children in this country, and there is a problem if the target audience of sesame street starts

I didn't pay much attention to her costume. Mostly I noticed that this annoying song that I hate hearing on the radio was less annoying with children's lyrics. I think the original lyrics are quite dumb, but when dumbed down further they become tolerable. Perhaps if lyrics aren't up to the level of adult reasoning, giving up on adults is the way to go.
