Fernwithy's "Shifts" and "Shades"

I'm hoping that someone might be able to give me a plot spoiler for Fernwithy's "Shifts" and "Shades" before I start re-reading them. Is Remus unfaithful to Tonks at any point? (Even unintentionally, when he's away with the feral pack?) It's been a very long time since I read them. I know that there was one long multi-chapter R/T fic that I read ( Read more... )

Nope, definitely no infidelity in those fics. Lots of noble-gittishness, and some PTSD in "Shades" resulting from things Remus had to go through with Greyback's pack, but that's it.

Actually, now that I think about it, in one of the unpleasant pack incidents, Greyback does actually set Remus up to be unfaithful to Tonks while transformed (and with a child to boot, ick), but Remus sees what's going to happen and manages to prevent it.

Great, thank you! :D I feel safe to re-read, then! (Unfortunately, I think noble-gittishness is just about impossible to avoid in a Remus/Tonks fic after HBP and DH, heh - I have to admit I enjoy reading the odd pre-HBP R/T fic when I can find them, just because the take on the characters is so different. I miss the period in between books, when things weren't canon yet and it was all wide open to speculation!)
