I was listening to the Adam Carolla show this morning on the way to work and they were doing a bit on the worst covers they could come up with. A couple of them were just 'meh' yeah it sucks but it's not 'curl up in a ball and cry' bad. Then came this gem

AND she changed the lyrics to "hope I don't die before I get old."

Any Who fan with a lick of sense or allegiance will proudly stomp her if they get in range. I know I will.

I thought I heard them mention that, but I think I was deaf for several minutes afterwards so it didn't click. So, not only did she do a terrible delivery, but with that change in lyrics the song either doesn't make sense or takes on a painfully opposite sort of meaning. Instead of 'God I don't want to become them.' It's 'Gee, I can't wait until I'm like them.' Which is just...sad.

Or I'm putting way to much thought into it. :)

Second worst has to be Britney Spears doing both "(I Can't Get No)Satisfaction" and "I Love Rock & Roll." She changed the line in "Satisfaction" from "how white my shorts should be" to "how short my skirts should be." Gag.

But yeah, the Hilary Duff version of "My Generation" sucks giant donkey balls.
