6. Mussel bakes with Jenn

Every now and then (usually when we were feeling the money pinch) Jenn and I would buy up four or five pounds of mussels at the grocery store for, like, six bucks. Yeah, all of the mussels I had in Vancouver tasted like the ass of the sea.

I haven't even tried them. The grocery store ones are, like, 4 dollars for fifteen mussels in vacuum packaging. Stupid. I'm sure if I went to the right places I could find fresh ones, but why try? They won't be east coast taste or price.
