I do think birds have a sense of humor. Ripley likes to ask me "whatcha doin?" and when I tell him he usually responds with "okay!" The other day when I was scrubbing the carpet that he pooped on, he asked "Whatcha doin?" so I said, "cleaning up your poop." He replied with a very enthusiastic "good boy!"
