Is that a hand bound book? It's phenomenal! After the holidays I want to try to do that. I'm not sure I'd ever be that good though!

Book binding isn't really that difficult; it usually takes longer to prep book cover, spine, and signatures than it does to do the actual sewing. There are also much simpler stitches than the one I used on this book, and you don't even have to have a visible binding. I just like visible bindings because it makes a very clear, "Made by Hand" statement.

Which reminds me- I need to sign/date those two books before I send them out.

Edit: because I meant to say that if you want to learn some basic stitches, I can show you some after the first of the year, when things aren't so crazy.
