Yeah so i have not updated for along time, and i thought it would be a good time to update.
Well as some of you know this whole past week i have been rehearsing at 3:30 to 7:30 for my first paying gig, "The King And I". It was so much fun! I wish everything was like that, i got along great with everyone there, and the music was not that hard, i was actually excited to play! All of the orch. members were from Cypress except the flute player who was from Fort myers...i think...
Paul smith played the violin
Andrea Dobbs played the Viola
Courtney Renfroe played the Cello
Her dad was the conductor/keyboard player
Sam Dawson played the Oboe
And Jim Oliver on Percussion.
Yeah they put my name as Jim Oliver on the program and on the check...oh yeah i got $350 to play for this!!!
Both performances were great, but the second night the main girl lost her voice and it was very sad because she had suck a beautiful voice and she worked hard for this.
And during the intermission and at the end alot of people came over to the pit to say good job to all the orch. members and to check out my kit, lol.
I was surronded by percussion stuff.
I finished my project and it is really good, lol.
Right now i am reading the "Da Vinci Code" and i can not stop reading it, i think i started reading monday and i am almost done with it. I love those type of mystery books.
And my mom is leaving for europe soon!
And i am going to be in a wedding in June.
And i might have a party soon...
