Title:Breaking Trust
Author:ihrtkjr
Category:e/r, h/c, AU, and m-preg just because I don't really ever see them and I want to.
Spoilers:None right now, may change in the future.
Rating:R to NC-17. Just want to be sure.
Pairing:eventual Ryan/Eric, in the past Ryan/Speed, and Ryan/OMC
Summary:My universe, Speed lives in this, but he hurts Ryan (not like that) in the past. Their relationship is in the past, and Ryan/Eric will be along shortly. Right now Ryan will go through a little bit of hell first with the guy he met after the breakup. And (poor Ryan) his trust will break even more.
Warning:smut, good old fashioned smut. It is a m/m fic, so you have been warned.
A/N: Don't own, just borrowing. Am making no money so don't sue. This is my first fic so please tell me if I am doing anything wrong, but no flames please. Is AU. I can't read every story out there no matter how hard I try, so if this is like something you've read before, please let me know. I do not want to infringe on anyone's territory. Or not give credit were it's due. I am using all the knowledge I have on the subject of police work. Not much. So if some one could tell me if i'm doing something wrong, I'd be grateful.

I did an update of the chapter. It still skips the two months, but now there is more before that.:)

Previous Chapters

"The other car came out of nowhere." Ryan said, trying desperately not to fall into a drug induced haze. "The stop was sudden and they ended slamming into the back of us."

"They who?" Horatio patiently asked.

"Jake and Tray." Ryan whispered, eyes closing.

"We'll have to talk to them again." Horatio said turning to Eric.

"I'll call." Eric nodded before turning his attention back to Ryan. He didn't notice Alexx come to the door or Horatio following her out.

"He's lucky the window was down. It could have been a lot worse. From everything I've seen, his partner hit his head and was then hit in the head."

"And the other two?"

"We won't know for certain until the results come in, but it looks like tranquilizers. They're still out cold." She added before he could ask.

"Hey." Speed whispered walking up to them. "Officer Ito said it looked like a woman."

"And how did he come to that conclusion?" H asked.

"He said he saw boobs. He probably could have put it a better way, but he's doped up to his eyeballs." The look Alexx gave could have melted ice. "It's what he said." Speed added defensively.

"There's really nothing we can do until they're all awake and coherent." Horatio said. "Let's head back to the lab."

"Thank you for talking to us Mr. Wolfe. This shouldn't take long." Horatio said, sitting next to the hospital bed. "Can you tell us what happened? Anything at all."

"Yeah, yeah I'll try." Ryan said.

"Take your time."

"We were going south...

"You know you're not supposed to cuss at work." Ryan whispered.

"I know. But we weren't at work, we were outside." Lee smiled, glancing at Ryan. "Besides, it's not like anyone heard."

"That's really, really not the point and you know it. You could get suspended, or even fired. So why do you keep doing it?" Ryan asked, not even trying to whisper anymore.

"Maybe he just likes getting into trouble." Derk sneered from the back seat.

"I don't like getting into trouble. It's just a habit." Lee gave a pointed glance at the rear view mirror.

"We talked for while longer without any interuptions from the back. Jake and Tray got cut off from us as we were turning. We radioed them, Tray said they were right behind us and that they would catch up. They were back behind us about two minutes later."

"Did you see what or who cut them off? Calleigh asked form behind Horatio.

"No, sorry. I was looking back at them."

"Why did you look back at them?" She asked.

"I." Ryan was confused for minute. "I heard a car honk. I think. I'm not really sure though." Ryan said finaly.

"That's okay, Mr. Wolfe. What else do you remember?" Horatio asked.

"The Jeep."

"What Jeep?" Horatio asked.

"The one that came out of nowhere. The one we hit." Ryan muttered, his head starting to spin.

"Mr. Wolfe?"

"I'm fine."

"Are you sure? We could come back later."

"I'm sure. It's best to get it done all in one go."

"Ok. What do you remember about the Jeep? And what do you remember before you hit it?"

"They had just caught up with us."

"There they are." Ryan told Lee while picking up the radio. "Hey guys, nice of you to join us." Ryan said.

"What was that guy's problem? He was there and gone in like a second." Tray replied.

"Did you get a plate number?" Ryan asked.

"No. It happened to fast." Tray answered back.

"You two okay?"

"Just fine. He only made us miss the light. No damage done."

"Ok. Good to know."

"How long?" Derk growled.

"About half an hour." Lee said.

"The Jeep was a Cherokee. Black or navy. And it was really old. I'm sorry, I don't remember anything else. Everything else is just fuzzy."

"That was good Mr. Wolfe. We'll let you get some rest." Horatio got up and signaled Calleigh to follow. He turned at the door. "If you remember anything else, just call. Good afternoon." And with that they were both gone.

"Hey baby. How are you feeling?" Eric asked walking into the room.

"I'm fine. I should be getting out of here tomorrow if everything looks good. Calleigh and Horatio just left." Ryan smiled.

"That's good. I saw them in the hall on the way in." Eric hesitantly moved toward the bed.

"I won't break if you kiss me." Ryan said.

"Will you give up patrol?" Eric asked.

"No."

"Will you take a desk job?"

"When I have to."

"Ryan."

"Eric." He sighed. "This wasn't supposed to be dangerous. It was an accident. A fluke. I'm not going to give up my job. But I can promise you that I'll go out of my way to avoid anything like this in the future."

"You have to promise to be safe." Eric said, sitting next to him.

"I promise." Ryan kissed him. "I'm not doing anything dirty in this bed Eric, so you just move your hand right now."

"What was that?" Eric asked, jerking his back from Ryan's stomach.

"The baby." Ryan mumbled in his sleep.

"How can you sleep at a time like this? Our baby just moved." Eric whispered.

"Because he's been doing it all night?" Ryan asked, waking all the way up.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Eric asked, crawling up Ryan's body.

"I thought you noticed. It was kind of obvious, seeing as how my stomach was moving on it's own." Ryan cupped Eric's face and pulled him down for a kiss. "Not that bright, are you?" Ryan teased.

"Funny."

"Stop staring at it. Just a bump, that's all it was." Ryan said while moving Eric's hand from his forehead.

"But-"

"No buts. It happened, it's over. Derk and whoever helped him will be caught soon."

"How can you be so sure? It's been almost two months, and he hasn't been caught yet." Eric burst out.

"You have no faith in us? We got him once before."

"Ryan."

"No. I'm insulted now." Ryan said rolling to face the window. "Can't even sleep on my stomach any more. Our baby probably has your big head." Ryan grumbled.

"I hope he has your eyes." Eric whispered in Ryan's ear. "And your nose, and mouth, and ears. Is it working?"

"That would look pretty funny on your big head." Ryan laughed, turning back.

"I find that insulting. When your head is so much bigger than mine." Eric said pulling Ryan to him. "I wasn't trying to insult you or anyone. I'm just saying, he's still out there and that scares me."

"Scares me too. But you'll give yourself a heart attack if you keep thinking about what could have happened, and what could happen. Here," Ryan pulled Eric's hand down his torso. "Feel that?"

"Wha- oh. Yeah." Eric's face lit up as he looked at Ryan. "How long has he been moving?"

"About two months. You really didn't know what it was did you?"

Eric didn't answer, he just looked sheepish.

"You have to tell me these things. It's not like he's in my uterus." He muttered finally.

"You don't have a uterus. If you did, you would be having the next one." Ryan poked him.

"Well I for one am happy. Very happy that I don't have to go through labour."

"Hey. Not fair." Ryan growled.

"Don't worry. I'll make sure you get the good drugs. Even I'm not that mean." Eric smiled.

"And if they don't work I can always kill you." Ryan laughed. "Good plan."

"Hey."

Eric followed the voices into the kitchen.

"Jay. Could you please stop that." Ryan tried turning away from their son's poking fingers.

"Look Papa. Daddy's squishy." Jay said turning to poke Ryan again.

"Eric please." Ryan looked at him. "Do something."

"Jay, come sit down." Eric came up behind him and tried to pry him away.

"But Daddy's squishy. See?" Jay, ignoring them both, went back to poking Ryan.

"He's been doing it for half an hour." Ryan hissed.

"We can-"

"It moves too." Jay squeeled.

"And we want a big family?" Ryan asked looking at Eric.

"Yeah. It'll be fun." Eric smiled.

"You can only say that because our son isn't poking your stomach." Ryan growled.

"I love you." Eric said.

"Keep trying." Ryan said turning back to the food.

"Worth a shot. Sit down Jay, or we won't go to the beach today. Give and take honey." Eric said as Jay left them to sit at the table.

Ryan just growled.
