down the highway
watching as the skies roll by

life
just another race
but only rats can win or lose

but, boys, you can kiss my ass
'cause i'm the one who'll really win
and not by running but stopping,
forgoing the track entirely
using the world as i find it,
for beauty,
not as a sideshow to the inside
of a truck headed for hell

riding
off the track
don't forget to pick up passengers

always
enjoy your time
so, when the gas runs out

it'll have been a real ride
