I hope baby Brie gets better soon!! You know how I feel about the M'boro ER, but what other choice do you have in a situation like that? I'm sorry you had to go through that.

Even though the StoneCrest hospital is a longer drive, it still would have been much, much faster for you. You fill out no paperwork other than your name until they bring you back to the room and you've been seen by at least a nurse. The longest I have ever been there, TOTAL, was 2 hours, and that was when Nate needed a chest X ray and 2 breathing treatments. And it's a much, much better hospital.

I'm sorry your baby got hurt, that must have been terrible.

Man I totally feel your pain. I know that it's an extremly scary situation to be in when it's your entire life there in your arms. And I know how heartbreaking it is when your child is in pain and there is nothing you can do about it but I have the ability since it wasn't me to sit back and access the situation from a triage stand point, as horrible as it was these were not life threatning injuries. I don't understand why you weren't allowed to fill out the paperwork while being seen unless all the suture rooms were occupied. Normally in this situation children take precedence, over all but the serious cases. Sometimes the politics of the medical profession make me so glad I'm out of that field. Hint, If you have insurance than call an ambulance, you go straight to treatment and it'll be covered by your insurance. I really hope your little one gets better soon buddy.
