Loki never really liked Ora, and was just a mite flummoxed with the actions of that whole 'clique,' if you will. He mostly insists on loving her just to make things difficult.
His tune changed just a teensybit with the whole mortal incident. He hasn't met Nara, and doesn't plan to any time soon. He doesn't want anything to be any more difficult, now, than it has to be -- he wouldn't wish mortality on his worst enemies. Poor kid...
He feels that anything, feelings or otherwise, that he owed to Hermes expired when he stopped being dead. New Hermes will have to earn all of that back, like Odhinn did after he became All-Wise and Rune-Knowing and lost some superfluous consonants.
Also, New Hermes makes Loki feel old. Loki's been feeling old and threadbare for a while, but took comfort in another of the Good Ol' Boys being around and thriving against the will of modern mortal living. But now, who has he got? Djehuty? Pscht. He's falling back into a slump. The kind of slump you lie in for three winters until cocks crow and ships sail...
Hermes does not approve of slumps, but he does approve of going to the zoo and setting the animals free. He's mostly the same, but, yes, there are differences. Once the New God Smell wears off a little more, it should be more obvious what stayed and what was traded away.
Oh, and Hermes is willing to do just about whatever it takes to re-earn respect, feelings, etc. etc. Uh-oh.
Djehuty is entirely too stuck up for his own, or anyone else's good. This makes him kinda fun to screw with on occasion. But, all in all, his knowledge earns respect, and Loki's always just a teensy bit grateful to have Old School deities around.
Plus, smoketopodes are entertaining when uncontrolable.
Leela is a sweetie for a mortal-thingie. Loki truly does appreciate their conversations, as they keep him grounded, in touch with the solid, mortal world. He thinks that she invites entirely too much drama into her life, and would be better off if she just chilled out and went with the flow a bit, but he won't ever tell her what to do -- he enjoys abusing his power, but not like that.
The gifts, tanks and the like, are amusing, but entirely unnecessary. The god lives in a tent, fercryinoutloud.
He much prefers her company over that of her mother. He can see where Leela got her drama genes...
'Bout as much as an actual spider. Loki sees him, and his effect on the beings around him, but can't be arsed to get off the couch and do the waterglass-and-a-birthday-card thing.

So now, he just keeps his nose out of things.

Jeez, that's kinda depressing, huh?
