I'm not weirded out by the idea and I can handle putting things in my eyes. It's more an issue of will they be horribly uncomfortable or make me go blind or something. LOL
I think you'll be in for a learning curve re: contacts if you're not used to them. :)
Just learning to take them in/out can be stressful when you first start and they will probably feel aggravating until your eye muscles adjust. (Also: headache trigger if you wear them too long at first.)
My husband has them but rarely wears them because he doesn't wear them often enough to get in the habit and to the point where it feels natural. He sees me doing it so easily and thinks he can just jump in there and do it too but you can't. (I've had them since I was 15.)
Good to know. Jason wears contacts and I didn't even think about getting used to them. Maybe I'll go ahead and order a pair and see how I do. The cosmetic ones I'm looking at are only $25, so it's not like I'm out a bunch of money if they don't work.
