hey, i am soooo sorry! i did NOT mean to defriend you -- there was some drama on my f-list and i did a major cut, but i didn't mean to exclude you! so sorry for the confusion -- the "manage friends" thing gets weird sometimes. :-(
I agree with you. What bothers me is that not all avenues were exhausted before this was brought public. There are two situations like this going on right now - I don't know if you are aware of the other, but in one of them the other side of the story hasn't even be TOLD. Ppl are making judgments based on one side alone - and one of them is a moderator! What the hell happened to innocent until proven guiilty? And how the hell does one prove anything unless all sides are aired/ told? And for someone "in charge" of something to take a side is a dangerous thing to do.
I'm not aware of the second situation, no. :/ I'm assuming this is in the same community, though?
I agree on all counts, and especially about the moderator's involvement. I am sure they are doing what they think is right but when you're in a position of authority you need to be fair and factual, and if both sides of the story haven't been told then you should be careful about what you say in public.
Particularly because this kind of reputation damage can follow someone extensively.
I dont know what you are referring to but I found something odd the other day. There is someone we have had problems with for about 3 years now. Due to Mistress's systm having poly relationships with them and with us. Im not getting into it all here however one of them is a maker at a few places. Now, we know this person on a personal level, and even if we agree with what what said, that doesnt mean it needed to be aired publicly in a community. I happened to stumble upon a certain community and saw a public post about it and was like whoa....
i was checking your profile page because you just joined a comm where i mod at today. :) i noticed that we share a few mutual friends and intrests ... i'd like to add you ... cool with you?
