Well it's happend, someone went and hacked the forum and did a hell of a lot of damage which ended in me having to delete the whole forum and the database ;_

Hackers really need to sort out their lives... you know, like.. getting a job :p

Like wolfie said, it was a script kiddie. phpBB exploits are a dime a dozen and the thing in the email is basic, hardly even an attack. The problem isn't hackers (who are actually very few and the malicious ones usually go after corporate websites), it's dipshits who think they're hackers. Sadly, after the matrix every 12 year old online who hates cutting the grass weekly now thinks he's a 1337 H@XX0R for being able to download a script.
