Well i got the engine out this weekend with minimal casualties i still have all 9 fing... 10 fingers. I did mange to break one or two minor things but that was expected and to be honest i'm quite amazed at how easy it came out! but damn it was a very tight fit!! - Seemed with the bad weather on Saturday/Sunday that i got a lot of water on my brain ( Read more... )

Wankels are quite easy to strip down and rebuild. Allegedly.

You are very right my Shep chum :) very fiddly but fundamentally simple. I'm considering porting the engine while its out though.

Actually, yes.

I used to paintball frequently, but the friend I went with got tired of it and sold his gun. Haven't gone in over a year...

... I have no idea how to dissemble/rebuild such a machine, but I wish you look in your technical endeavours and hope you achieve far above and beyond what you intend to :)

Behold the mighty Wankel engine, when the environment, mpg and health of small children are not an issue! With enough unburnt hydrocarbons than you can shake a stick at!
