*hugs* Don't think its an American thing i just don't like it when people promise things then don't do it, or don't have the decency to tell you. A lot of it can be negated if people just tell you they can't do something.

Thats why i do most things myself, and try to be as independent as i can, not just because i dont like asking for favours, but because i fear that things wont be done right, or wont be done to how i wanted it done, and i'll fall out with them over it.

On another note, yay, i can fit in a polo!

Yeah you can fit in a polo, Im half tempted to take the Merc since its been offered to me but that's another 2 seat affair.

You're better off with the Polo, as you won't have any trouble getting it mended in Germany if it breaks down. I'm taking TV2 and hoping that the Volvo gods smile upon it. If not, my European breakdown cover will prove to be very handy :)
