A mixed bag, but I wanted to let everyone know that Beth Rayas is awake and doing better, and I want to thank everyone for their support. The family is still going to need a lot of help, and you can hear more about the progress hereAgain, please keep them in your prayers and thoughts if nothing else, they have a long road of recovery to go down now

I'm trying to get word from Teresa right now. Apparently we're actually not going to get charged, but we will have to carry everything in our hands. She's asking around and as soon as (or if) she gets answers to our questions, she'll get back to me immediately.

Yeah, I don't...I don't even. This part is something the Convention Center union is doing, and Teresa's trying to find out more information for it. I don't think I'd be quite so unhappy about this if it had been all laid out up-front instead of picking these things up along a rumor-mill.

That's just seriously fucked up. No wheeled carts / cases? What, they expect you to carry it all on your head, back and arms?

I think it's time for Anime Expo to move to a different convention center. There HAS to be somewhere else it can be housed.

I'm calling the medical card and saying it's impossible for us to do it, because like I said, my Loki has a busted shoulder and should not carry anything heavier than five pounds if that, my mother has a spinal injury, and I've got the tendonitis in the wrists. This is going to be fabulous! 8D

Well, even if they do, I'm not going back again. It's just not worth the hassle anymore.
