I got in on "dollar Taco/Margarita" night. People tend to be cheap on this particular night. I started immediately with 3 tables: A 5 topper, 4 topper, and 3 topper. This wouldn't have been so bad, but you have to bring salsa and chips out to them and then get their drinks to them. A "no-brainer," right? WRONG. The bar was backed up and cups ( Read more... )

It's good to see you post. And I'm glad you handled the night so gracefully.

My knee doesn't feel so good, today. But I'm glad the managers were compassionate towards my injury. Are you ever going to visit Hattiesburg? Let me know. I still don't have my new phone, yet.

I'm going to MS for Christmas but I don't know if anyone will be around and whether or not I'll have transportation to Hattiesburg. I'll be on the coast.

I begin work at 5:45pm til' closing, tonight and tomorrow night. I'm off Saturday and I work a double shift on Sunday. It will be nice having a simple table. To prepare you Matt:

We have Spinach Enchiladas... Two Corn Tortillas with Spinach (really?) and cheese, topped with Ranchero Sauce.

Vegetarian Burrito... Cheese, Beans, Lettuce and Pico de Gallo in Flour Tortillas topped with Ranchero Sauce.

I could probably also do the Dos Rellenos (Stuffed Peppers, of course) with both cheese instead of the beef... I'd be willing to bet you even get a dollar off when substituting the beef with cheese.

You can also get a Portabello Grilled Fajita plate with Onions and Bell Peppers and sliced tomatoes with a squeeze of lemon on a hot sizzling plate.

I'd love for you to stop in. I need an honest opinion from a friend. Bring people. ; P

2 bucks for a 5 person table does suck, but you have to always remember that any money, even a quarter is money you didn't have walking in. At least thats how I kept a positive attitude. Until 2 groups of 9 with a birthday left me combined tips of 1.73 after juggling for both parties. I'm a big believer in karma though, so I hope those children aren't too fucked up after what horrible fate fell upon there cheap parents. ;)
Keep up the good work man!
