A few hours have passed since I began reading at midnight. I was hoping I'd get sleepy, but as I started yawning, the book started getting interesting. Ten minutes ago, my mom got up and started passing through the hallway. All of a sudden she started crying out for help saying there was something wrong. She described it to us as hot and cold

First of all, I'd like to say that it's really nice to hear/read from you again, man! Hope you like your job well enough...I know "just to get by" jobs like that can kinda suck. I know you'd have a ball doing the stuff that I've been doing the past few months.

Secondly, I'm very sorry to hear that your mom is having some health problems. I've been looking around online, and it seems that it's "ok" to drink if you're diabetic as long as you eat something too. A drink or two a day can also help keep heart disease away. All of this is assuming that one is a light/moderate drinker.

Hope things with your mom turn out ok, and that things for you personally are going good. Take care man!
