Last night Mojo and i went to our first class with the animal sense training group. Our class is specifically designed for dogs, like Mojo, who come from shelters and/or rescues. Dogs with trust and behavioral issues. Basically it's doggie rehab ( Read more... )

Daisy sounds like my dog Vegas, but I think Vegas is worse. She eaten TONS of things - dog beds, couch cushions, packages of cookies, jewelery boxes, photo frames. She's a master escape artist - jumping 6.5 foot fences in a single bound.

My other dog, Cyclone, was a terror too. He used to drag the refrigerator out into the living room and eat everything out of it. Pounds of raw meat, cheese, even soda.

I had some major problems with the both of them. However Cyclone passed away and Vegas seems to have calmed down. However she will eat something on the counter if you leave it...

And just for amusement here are pictures of Vegas and Chopper at one of their worst messes - be thankful that Mojo does NOTHING compared to that :)

LOL!

Actually my dog prior to Mojo, the infamous Kody, was destructive. He also had severe seperation anxiety. He would chew through/on anything including computer cases, clothes, books, toothbrushes, toothpaste, stuffed animals, the couch etc. He also developed a taste for marijuana because my boyfriend at the time was a complete stoner. He'd (Kody) jump on top of tables, desks, bookshelves, to get to the baggies. He'd chew through clothing to get at it... it was just chaotic.

It sounds like he did relatively well for it being his first class. It's got to be a little nerve wracking for a dog to all of a sudden be in an environment like that. With all those other dogs. My brother and his girlfriend are taking their two labs to their first class tonight. You want to talk about bad dogs? They have a black lab and a yellow lab. They have ripped the carpet almost COMPLETELY out of the WHOLE living room! Destroyed two couches. Ruined the backyard so my brother laid more grass and they tore that up within a week! They don't listen. They jump all over everyone. To the point where I don't even really like going over to their house anymore. Keep your fingers crossed. Those two need a miracle.
