for the past few weeks mojo has tried to straddle my legs off and on when i have been on the phone or sitting in my computer chair or you know when i am not paying attention to him. I have ALWAYS made him stop even though he never made an attempt to hump me. He would just put my leg between his four and look up at me. Tonight he did the same thing ( Read more... )

Awww! Mojo just loves his momma! Do you have any whole body pics of him? I would love to see his body frame, considering what he is mixed with.

As you may be able to tell from the pictures he only carries the doxie genes via his length and shortness and delicate features of his head (he's not as squared off and bulky as a lot of pits i've known), otherwise he has a pit bull's heft, musculature, and definately coloring. He predominantly acts pit bullish, although he's very friendly towards dogs, humans etc. To be honest i haven't really even looked into the dachshund temperment because he follows my pit bull books so closely in temperment.

why thank you! he's not what i expected to adopt as my "next" dog when i was looking... however, when i met him i was smitten. he's definately unlike any other dog i've ever had, both in looks, breed and temperment.

when i first met him i thought he was a cinnamon red/brown, but he's definately more of a milk chocolate brown in real life. i get lots of compliments on how he looks. but it's always nice to hear one more. what kind of dog(s) do you have?

I have two fawn boxers, Zoe and Lucy, one Pit-Chow, Goose, one Dalmatian-Boxer mix, Marlow, one Black Shepard-Dane, Beaumister, one Chow-Collie, Rosie...I use to rescue and foster dogs and these are my last big pack...I think :^) My daughter has the digital and I haven't been able to post any pictures, but will one day soon... Sure think Mojo is a handsome dog... I like your journal too, it is very nice.
