it's been 3 weeks now since the accident that almost severed my thumb at work. instead of bloody raw meat, a mass of stitches and a black and blue misplaced nail, we have dried up black and blue dead skin waiting to sluff off and three remaining stitches holding the old nail on...

my oxycodone is almost gone... damn...

Holy cow, Derrick! First of all, I'm glad that your thumb was only ALMOST severed instead of actually severed. And secondly, I read this entry as I was eating breakfest and it made me really hungry! :)
