logical preconclusion

i finished my first knitting project, tonight.

therefore, i will need more yarn.

...

fortunately, i bought enough yarn yesterday for the next three projects.

(hey, it seemed logical to *me* at the time... :) )

Excellent sources of yarn in the area:
Woolcott (Harvard Sq)
Windsor Button (Downtown Crossing/Park St)
Snow Goose (Milton)
Stitch House (Dorchester. It's new and it's my favorite LYS).

I find Mind's Eye Yarn to be vastly overpriced, and Spark to have almost no yarn/knitting notions (both Porter Sq)

Webs (aka yarn.com) in Northampton is also a great deal of fun to visit, though it stretches the definition of "local".

As of today's lunch trip, I can also report that Island Yarn in Waltham (just over the line from Watertown, on Pleasant/River St.) has an interesting and eclectic selection.
