I've been jumping around AO3 and reading a lot of older fic lately so a couple of these reflect that:

Is that discontentedwinter story any good?
I usually tend to avoid anything to do with her.

Edited because I shouldn't have brought my own issues with the writer into this, sorry for that.

I've never interacted with the writer aside from reading some of their fics on AO3 so I can't say to how they act on other platforms, or even how they portray specific characters in all their stories.

That being said, I enjoyed this particular fic enough to have bookmarked it and Scott is portrayed as his stupidly brave, genuine nice self.

I never understood why so many tw writers write Scott as stupid, when he's pretty much as smart as Derek, and definitely smarter than Isaac. It's just that Stiles and Scott focus on different kinds of intelligence.

It's like, have you ever noticed how often fics have Scott act reckless or without thinking, when in canon, it's Stiles who acts thoughtlessly and recklessly, and Scott who overthinks things, and is often too cautious for his own good and has to pull Stiles, Derek and Isaac back from doing something stupid. ;-)
