Just read this article about flatmates and sharehouses. The article is fairly short and plain, but the comments are full of peoples sharehouse horror stories. I like reading things like this every now and then, because it makes me realise how lucky I am, and how good I have things

I think that mostly the housemate experience hasn't been a bad one for me... I think one of the worst things is just that a housemate relationship can have a sort of best before date and if something happens to bring that past then you can just get tired of being around each other, and then you can have the wrong mix of housemates or just the one housemate that you can't get on with.

That's about all the *horror* I've had from housemates - not much at all - though there may be one or two of the housemates that I've had who might disagree... I'm not sure. Of course the fact that I can look back on it all now and laugh means that it might have been worse at the time. :)
