So, here I am in Houston on a non-secure computer, logging into all my online accounts ;). Actually, this thing is probably quite secure. Anyway, I'm here for an interview with BakerHughes. You should take the oil job, or at least reconsider (leaving Austin for Houston isn't good but you do what you have to...though AFAIK you don't really make much use of Austin's unique qualities anyway).

Reality check: you're not going to ever go into space unless they decide to leave you there. Even IF you get a job with a space-based company, you're going to be doing all the design and such here on the ground.
