eBooks GO!

So for the holidays Mom got me a Sony Reader pocket edition. I am absolutely in lurrrrve with it. I also found out that the KC public library has online applications for library cards, AND they carry eBooks that you can checkout for free. *BAM!* Already applied for the card, just waiting for it to be mailed. Yeah, the Kindle has the built in Wi-fi, which would be nice to download on the fly like that...but Mom did a bunch of research and supposedly the Sony Reader Pocket edition had the best "value" rating - plus I'm sure cost factored in to it. I don't mind plugging into a PC to download either - it's just like updating my iPod - and I'm sure PDF and mult-format support will definitely come in handy down the road...especially if I start putting tech stuff on it.

Oh who am I kidding? It'll be books and recipes. ;)

I don't really care for the PDF support in either the sony or the kindle product. PDF support is all good ,but the screen size being so small means you're scrolling all over the place.
