I've yet to understand the want of realism in fiction. Regardless of the format, when I plug in to a fictional world, I'm doing it for escapism because I don't want to be in the real world. I want to be in this fantasy world where impossible things happen, good defeats evil, etc. I want to be off fighting in the War of Light alongside Hal Jordan, not stuck here dealing with my own emo shit that clogs up my world.

Then again, there's probably a pill for that. :P

I agree with ya completely. Hopefully this more of a return to that - instead of the "everything's dark and emo" that they've been doing.

There's a lot of good runs in Marvel's X-lines right now, but there's also some very bad ones too. I guess they equal out in the long run.
