Written for the avatar_500 prompt 66 Regret.  I've written this up quickly and although I've checked it, I haven't slept in a while. so it's probably not that good.  I imagine before his wife died that Hiroshi Sato wanted to spend as much time as possible with his family despite his work-load.

I'm hoping that in season 2 they explore the aftermath of Hiroshi betraying Asami the way he did.

I can imagine Asami thought there was something wrong after her mother died, but convinced herself it was just because her father was so upset. To then walk in on her father trying to kill her boyfriend and other friends must have been devastating.
