Dear gods

Okay, so tonight...tonight I have essentially nothing to do here at work. I have a single job, which I physically cannot finish because we don't have enough of the required paper. I can run part of this job (print out 800 double-sided copies and cut them down to 8x10 for some really odd reason), but just printing will take hours and there's little ( Read more... )

I need to learn how to do animated icons at some point. I'm limited to static ones at the moment.

Oooh. I'll take a look. I didn't know Image Ready was how you animated stuff. I don't have PS at home (note to self: Pester Candice for copy of PS), so I've just been going on what they have here at work and Image Ready wasn't readily visibl.e

Even LJ isn't cooperating with me tonight. >_< 90% of the machines at work are busted or acting up and now LJ is being weird with me. Stupid bugger.

I less than three Pterry. :) Robert Asperin, I've enjoyed as well, but don't have many books. Tad Williams I actually dislike greatly. ^_^;; I can go into why, but he's not my favorite author. I've never even heard of the other two.

tad williams takes too long to get to the point. the otherland series would have been great with two less books.

I do, however, really like the memory, sorrow and thorn series, as well as tailchasers song which is a single book

the other too (rankin and hill) are crime fiction authors. I love crime fiction! so I have read a lot :)

That's exactly why I hate Tad Williams. :) If I were his editor, I'd have sent him back every single one of his novels with "Get to the freaking point" written on them in huge red letters. I thought Memory, Sorrow, and THorn was okay, but Otherland annoyed the snot out of me because he was so busy bathing himself in the sound of his own rambling prose that he forgot to make the characters interesting and live up to the promise of the plot. :)
