Since we obviously have not been able to gather enough submissions for the last challenge in the past few weeks (having only gotten two, even with the extensions), I think it's relatively safe to say that we'll probably be dropping this theme. For me it's just lack of time...I was really sick during the Spring and missed almost 3 weeks of classes, and I had no time to make icons and stuff...and now I'm in summer classes, and they take up my time. I still love Wolf's Rain.

I think it could be a lack of interest because it hasn't been on TV in a while, and seeing something regularly keeps interest alive. That's why a lot of regular show icontests have lower entries during reruns I think. I love this show, and I always will...but then again I prefer classics to a lot of the newer stuff on TV.

as much as i love WR, maybe we do. this community wont be the same as it used to. There hasn't been much competition here for awhile already. =/

I kinda went on icon hiatus in all my icontests, while I do have a lot of love for making them I have picked up a lot of hours at work and it leaves me scrambling for the rest of my free time and balancing it with life. I love this com though - so whatever you decide I will probably eventually try to get back into it when I can.

oh hun im sorry i have been gone! i was basicly kidnapped and have been out of town,and i was supposed to be back last week but that changed to >.< but i will be back thursday.

as for my opinion.im not quiet sure,ususally i dont enter cuz i hate modding and then entering but if no one minded i would since i love this contest.but i think since its almsot summer and most icontest get more active during the summmer,i think if we do a hitaus it shouldnt be TOO long.then also the people that enter will forget about this community.

and i agree about people losing interest in it since it hasnt been on t.v. a lot.i talked to fried about it and she suggested "make them submit at least 1 wolf rain icon,and then a icon from any anime" and i seen that in a couple "only this anime" communitys,they allow another "any anime" icon and usually that does work.but that defiantly would change this community since we always did wolfs rain.what do you think?

Mm, I'm not too keen on the "any anime" icon part, since that would contradict the point of this being a Wolf's Rain community. :/

i know,thats the problem i have.i understand about having "at least one wolfs rain icon" and that would get a lot more attention but this isnt exactly a overall anime community,just wolfs rain.so i deffently understand.

right now i can see us doing 3 different things
1:go on hitaus and wait for the members that usually do enter to get back and get active again.
2:dont go on a break and keep doing it and seeing if it catches up and it bounces back.
3.or last resort wich is closing the community for good,wich i really dont want to do or make a new community for overall anime icons contest and lead the people here to over there so they may make wolfs rain icons there.

im not sure what you want to do,but please reply or email and tell me what you think we should do.

Well how about we try something like this. Since most schools are out or almost at an end now, I would think we should be able to get more participation. Let's put up one more theme - maybe a new week 77 - and let the amount of participation decide for us. What do you think about that?

What's awkward is that I live on the easter hemisphere and school just started o'er here, which is why I'm keeping participation in icontests down to a minimum. >_>

I'll make an effort though. Can't let the love for Wolf's rain die. :)
