original_muses. April. What do you consider a good day?

A good day is any day I'm still alive. I mean, really, if a piano hasn't fallen on my head and I still have a pulse, it's a good day, isn't it?

I try to be thankful for the small stuff like that.

But beyond that, I guess I'd say how much I get done in a day. I'm kinda restless. If I'm not doing something, I start getting fidgety and bored. So when I'm at work and there's like, four things happening at once and I get to go see stuff, that's always good for me. I can come home at night and say that I've done something. It might be something really boring like moving the boxes back in after I repainted the basement, but I can count stuff off that I know I've accomplished. That's pretty cool.

If I can't do that, I sort of feel like I've wasted my time. And time is precious. There's only one life and you don't know if you're going to make it from today to tomorrow. I saw with my dad that it can all be over in a day. So that would be my standard. But I'll take a piano not falling on my head, too.
