Of course! The only real difference is that performance (costumed or not) doesn't have "permanence" in the same way as visual or written work, and can be spontaneous. Certainly a formal act at FC:Unleashed or similar counts as "content", and unscripted public fursuiting is to that what doodles or quick sketches are to a multi-hour super-detailed art project.
