I want to move to Canada. I really, really do. But there's something stopping me, and I don't know what. Is it because I'm so attached to this country? Because I grew up here? Am I scared? Is it because Jeremie doesn't seem too excited by the idea of Canada and I don't want to lose him

My love why don't you look into doing just that. If it doesn't work you can always come back. If your Honey is meant to be in your life that too will work out. It is better to go live your desires than to always have regrets..

My personal feelings on why more of us don't do that is because we know, in our hearts, that it doesn't get much better than the US. The only other alternative is socialism, which works so-so in places like Canada, Australia, and Great Britain because they also have a monarchy system in place (the Queen can dissolve the entire government anytime she wants to). Canada appears inviting because we don't know all the problems that they have

I haven't lived anywhere else either. But I have visited Germany a lot, and I know that if the weather were nicer, it would be a much better place to live. =P the government really seems to care about its people...But there are things that suck, too, but that's everywhere...

Duuude Canada rox! All my relatives live in British Columbia. It's a swell place...nice little farm they live on too. Blackberries the size of pingpong balls. Yes, Canada rocks! :-)
