*Sigh*

I am gaining so much weight. I'm trying so hard to work it off. I've been exercising every day, working out, sometimes 2 hours a day, fencing, doing pilates, going on the machines in our fitness center, and I still look like a blimp. I don't know what to do anymore...Every time I look in the mirror I just hate myself.

don't worry so much. what do you eat? maybe you need a different diet, more from this and less from that. but i am sure you have tried it already ...

ditto. Eating is everything
combined with that sort of exercise.
You know that one guy Jared from
subway who lost like 300 lbs or
whatves? He did so because believe
it or not subs are an excellent balance
of proteins and carbs etc. I lost
30 lbs. freshman year of college by
lifting weights and eating right--
like subs, yogurt, lots of protein;
milk, cheeses, meat etc. Good luck
Kam, you can do it! ^_^

But that's what I eat. I don't really eat fast food or candy, I mean, once in a while, but not constantly...

Well, the past week I haven't eatne well because of moving, and I just didn't want to cook. Before that, I would cook veggies and meat (lower fat meat, like ground turkey instead of ground beef, etc.), and snacked on fruits and veggies, and I was still gaining weight.

Have you had your thyroid checked?
Are you drinking enough water?

Likely its your stress, honey. Stress hormones cause you to gain weight. And so does lack of sleep. We're living a 21st century life with 1st century bodies. Your body prolly thinks you're dying or something and its conserving every last ounce of resources to try and keep you alive.

Are you overexercising?
Is it possible that you're not eating enough?

well, I've had my thyroud checked, and it came out negative, but they told me the blood test is not very reliable. My mom is letting me take her thyroid medicine (I know, you're not supposed to do that =P), and it's made the exhaustion/stress/depression better (though my legs are still really tired for some reason...The rest of me feels strong, but my legs are always soooo tired). I haven't seen a change in weight yet, but I've only been taking it for 3 days. And I don't think I'm not eating enough...Though I do feel hungry like ALL the time. And yes, I drink water...And I normally exercise only an hour a day, which is what my doctor told me to do...So I really don't know. I'm completely stumped.
