Yay! :-)

LaGrange just built a brand new hospital (knocking the old one down) and had a huge open house with free food for any of the community members who wished to come in. Anyway... their knocking down the old hosp to put in the helipad and more parking.

Although it looks updated and so forth... it is still small and I'm not sure exactly yet if ParkView has over extended themselves by buying the Hospital and rebuilding it. one of those "wait and see" things I think.
I know that the doctors and nurses who staffed the old one were superb so I have no doubt the medical care received will be excellent; I just am not sure that they will have the volume of patients to support this new hosp. thats all.

Anyway... none of that really matters I guess since you don't know where I'm talking about but... :-)

No idea what you're talkin' about, but I can totally see, and follow, your train of thought. Every single hospital in the Dayton metro area has a heliport either on the hospital grounds or at least close by. Wayne Hospital, in Greenville, OH, their heliport is about a mile away and they have a private ambulance company shuttle them from the hospital to the heliport. All the rest are on the roof or in their parking lot.

Right. The old hosp. used to have it out in a field to the north. Now the new one, it will be a bigger heli-pad and will be to the south ( ... )
