Make Believe

Another week has begun its journey into history with what feels like somewhat unseemly haste. I'm not too sure I'm particularly fond of the passage of time at the moment as it seems lately to have been pushing me ever onwards from one needless emotional crisis to the next. Indeed, for all things presently may seem relatively straightforward in ( Read more... )

did you really get hit on the head by a book? I hope it got written in the accident book, if so. Can't have unauthorised injuries at work.

Sorry to hear about your change issue, I once ran out of cash where I work and had to go through all the disgusting, ripped and soiled notes to give money to someone. It's a nasty situation to be in.

I hope things soon look a bit more positive. I can fully understand the feeling that everything is a bit pointless and difficult, sadly I have discovered no magic pill to get rid of such a malady, perhaps a visit to some natural place in the sunshine with a favourite selection of poetry? I have a bit of a hippy approach to such things. That or make a deal with the devil at the crossroads at midnight...or internet dating?

Anyway, I send you any positive vibes I can spare and hope that the next scary thing isn't as bad as anticipated, take care x

Music, of course that is the other thing that stave off the blues. Would you like me to send a selection to bolster you up? I promise, no Hooves of Destiny this time. Sometimes a bit of mindless capitalism, in the form of buying CDs can make me happy.

Vicarious living through books? That works for a bit but then the book finishes. Anyway, I don't feel I have to put up with your complainings, expressing yourself seems like a fine way to work things out, possibly. I am glad you have a Guild wars pal, how excellent that you can play together, I hope your pets get on!

Waldorf Salad, with extra Waldorfs! wolfy_codex February 22 2013, 00:11:49 UTC
The musics do seem to be doing a reasonable job of taking me out of myself, at least for a little whiles anyways. Would always be happy and appreciative to receive new offerings though, however experimental or otherwise they might be. Exploring new landscapes has its rewards even when it turns out to be altogether to my tastes. Indeed, that is probably something I needs to finds a way to teach myself as so much of my woes would seem to stem from my own deluded idea that evasion is the better part of valour. Or something. And presently I'm not really in much of a position for some mindless capitalism however artisitcally directed. :P ( ... )
