Outraged Larry David delights me on a second-by-second basis.

Outraged Peggy and Pete Campbell are pretty great too. And the bad day-having director in Mulholland Drive. More closely the platonic Larry David is approached by a character the happier I am.

Oh man. I read the title of this post and I was like "Wynn Duffy... why the fuck is that name familiar..." and I burst out laughing when I remembered.

Man, Wynn Duffy is my favorite character on that show. What a great POV for a story, too. So many enigmas. Like the womens' tennis obsession, but he also comes across as possibly gay? I haven't watched the show in a long time so I'm not sure if any of this is resolved or if I'm just missing stuff.

Anyway, I think it would be funny to see a story from inside his head -- a violent criminal world as experienced by someone who is bored, or at most occasionally amused, by violence and crime.

I do remember the one moment where there is some loose end, basically, someone that there's no point not beating up horribly, and Duffy relaxes for like the first time in the series and says to whichever of the leads is with him in his Winnebago, hey, you want to have some fun? and I'm like, oh, yeah, right, you are for real one of the bad guys, I keep forgetting.

It's amazing how he enters the show as this scary guy, and then at some point I'm like, "and Wynn Duffy, hovering on the margins in a Winnebago....
