Friday night, with only about a half hour left, (and me packing up to sneak out a little early, to beat the traffic out of the city on my way to camp...) got called into the manager's office for a "quick" meeting. I got told that I was "too good of a tech" to be assigned to covering a specific department, and instead have to return to the "regular ( Read more... )

Damn, that sucks :( You would think you should be rewarded for working hard. I guess sometimes that doesn't work in the ways you want.

Talked to the deciding manager... and "told him it felt like a demotion" didn't have much time to talk, but it didn't help much... still feels like they want me to just live with it (which I have no choice...) and to like it (which I refuse to). If I was going to keep my parking, or some other compensation, I would be fine, but as it stands, I don't even have a desk right now!
