You've completely missed the East Coast. I know for a fact that a majority of them are worth visiting.

Bah, bah I say! The landscape of most east coast states looks most unappealing. There are a couple of Southeastern States I'd like to poke at once or twice, but I'm pretty much in-love with the North West.

Oh there are certainly many unappealing parts of the East Coast. But I doubt you'd call the Appalachian Mountains unappealing if you saw them with your own eyes. Not as majestic as the Rockies, certainly, but they have a simple beauty that steals my breath away.

And there is a charm to that small New England town that simply must be seen.

Hence my statement that there are a couple south-eastern states I would like to see.

South-West: Too Hot

North East: Landscape doesn't do anything for me.

Can't talk about the people in either region of course, since I've only had limited exposure to people from those regions that have moved to Idaho.

As for towns, I'm not all that big on civilization to be honest, and the more civilized the area the less comfortable I am.

Question for ya: Have you ever been outside of the US?

Yes, I've driven through Canada with my family when we moved from Alaska to Minnesota.
