6th Howl [Audio // English]

So! I have a question for you people out there, whether I know you or not.

[Wolf sounds rather jolly. It's probably because of the subject of the post, or the fact that she's almost mastered her bow and arrow. Either way, she's in a good mood.]

Who here celebrates, or at least knows of, Christmas? I don't care if they celebrate it here or not, I will ( Read more... )

happy wolf is happy, holly jolly jingle bells, christmas!

[Tumnus had only just heard from this young woman in his own journal a short time ago, but he was really thrilled to have found others that knew of Christmas and decided to simply reply to her own entry.]

I dare say that there will be at least two of us doing so, then... I cannot let such a day go by without acting in accordance to tradition.

[He, too, sounds perfectly thrilled.]

As you stated in my own journal, I cannot see how they can't have a celebration for it.

Glad to hear it! I've yet to miss a Christmas, and don't plan on it now!

[Yaaaay more people that like Christmas! Wolf is happy.]

I guess we just have to wait and see, hmm? Doesn't mean we can't do our own thing, either way.

[Gringringrin]

I'm Sarea, by the way. Don't think we've talked before?

[Tumnus' voice is warm, but calming as he replies.]

We went a good many years without Christmas in Narnia... I cannot see myself ignoring the holiday if there is the chance of celebrating it and sharing the company of others.

Even if our hosts do not offer any joyous tidings, I believe we the residents can certainly take it upon ourselves to have a proper celebration.

[His smile should be apparent in his voice by now.]

The pleasure is mine, entirely, Sarea and no, I do not believe I have had said pleasure before this moment. I am Tumnus.

[Wolf's not sure how to reply to that first bit, but at least he ends on a happier note that she can relate to.]

I'm sure there'll be an event of some sort, even just a dance or something. Hopefully.

[Not from her world, can't be a Breeder. Safe!]

Nice to meet you, Tumnus. I'm sure we'll find an abundance of surprises the closer we get to Christmas~

[Oh, cerainly happier than he was under those circumstances, yes!]

Oh, a dance would be most enjoyable... I rather enjoyed the last one.

[Where there was music and dancing, there were certainly fauns and the chance of another round of playing his pipes would be enjoyed.

Breeder, hmm? He'd likely blush simply at the use of the word! LOL]

I certainly hope so, Sarea... may they all be pleasant ones is my only hope.

Same... asides from the Halloween tricks, of course.

[Wolf isn't much of a party animal, but she loves Christmas and is willing to put up with crowds again if only for the holidays.

Oh, Tumnus, what you would think were you to meet the men who go by that name!]

Agreed. Snow, at least, would be enjoyable.

[Sarea, Tumnus is so on the same flow with you here! Christmas is one of the very few things he will bend over backward for, if only because it was so very long before it was celebrated in Narnia. There were too many good memories connected to the day to leave it uncelebrated.

Oh my... when he gets flustered over something as simple as some honest to goodness teasing, who can say?]

I would agree with this in full! Although I have known a relative light snowfall in this past at Christmastime, I would very much enjoy a good bit of snow as well.

My brothers and I always loved to romp around in the snow; it was the best part of Christmas, really.

[And she does, literally, mean romp, both in Wolf form and human!]

Besides, then we can build Snowmen and Snow forts, heh.

We fauns quite enjoy the snow, despite only have half of our bodies furred.

[Cutest romping image ever!]

Well I should most certainly think so! What would the point of a good snowfall be if one did not take advantage of it fully?

Hey, s'long as your dressed and ready for the weather, who cares? Snow's fun!

[Her wolf pack could be quite silly at times, hee~]

Exactly! I remember so many people who would gripe about the weather, but, really, when you live somewhere that it happens every winter, you'd think people would learn to get over it and enjoy it!
