[Wolf sounds rather jolly. It's probably because of the subject of the post, or the fact that she's almost mastered her bow and arrow. Either way, she's in a good mood.]

Who here celebrates, or at least knows of, Christmas? I don't care if they celebrate it here or not, I will

[Liz has learned, through trial and error, that it's best to respond in audio. Since she never knows when or if she'll be visible, she knows they'll at least hear her. It freaks people out less that way, so she sticks to it on first meets.]

I'm, like, sooooooo totally a Christmas girl! If this place is, like, even half as gung-ho about Christmas as it was Halloween then we should, like, have an amazing time!!

[And that's that. Ezra looks very certain about this.]

We mark down the new year, and there's coming of age, and we sing and dance and eat. It's pretty simple.

[Liz actually nods at this. She's not under any misconceptions that the big guy (aka her parents) was going to randomnly show up here at the Keep.]

I agree... I don't think he's, like, going to show up here or anything. But that doesn't mean, like, we can't celebrate or anything.

[She listens to his description of his own new year's celebration and smiles, leaning in closer to her journal. She looks quite interested.]

So, it's kinda like the whole solstice thing that, like, the witches back home celebrate... that's kinda cool!

[Then she grins brightly and giggles.]

What can I say? We're, like, a dangerous partying crowd, you know? We, like, have something just about every month, really.. Valetine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Columbus Day, New Years... I think we, like, just make up reasons to have a party, really.

[This is going to be interesting when Ezra finds out Santa isn't real.]

[He looks pretty surprised when Liz starts listing off holidays.]

There's really that many? That's crazy. How do you even make holidays special when you have so many? You may as well be having a party ever other day.

[Liz knows when to avoid certain subjects, thankfully, and when to change others wehn they sound to abyssmal.]

I'd love to, like, celebrate new years with you, Ezra! I think celebrating with other people is, like, what makes it more enjoyable. AND, learning about the different celbrations would, like, totally be cool!

[Hey, Ezra, it's like an unofficial date! At the look of surprise on his face, liz's smile brightens and she nods.]

I sometimes think that there are too many, really, but, like, they're so much fun! But they're celebrating different things, you know? So each one is different and we do stuff that is only done on those days. So it's not exactly like having a party every other day... not that that would, like, be a completely terrible thing.

[Party food everyday? Hmmmm... might not be the best of plans, but who knows!]

[Oh Liz. Your enthusiasm, while always welcome, is still surprising to Ezra. He scratches at his cheek awkwardly.]

Okay. If you really want to. Don't see why you would, though, with all your other parties.

I don't know how humans find so many things to celebrate.

[Enthusiasm, it r what for breakfast! She smiles warmly as Ezra relents and agrees without really any argument at all. WHEE!]

Of course I want to, Ezra. Why wouldn't I? I mean, just cause there's, like, a lot of celebrations on Earth doesn't mean that I wouldn't rather hang out with you.

[Cause, spoiler alert, she totally would rather hang with you.]

Sometimes it's not, like, the celebration that matters, so much as, like, the company you keep during it, you know?

[She'll involve you with all future celebrations, ever, Ezra!]

[Liz, you are so... ggg. Ezra can't handle your upbeat attitude. You've got him all confused and flustered and all he can't figure out how to respond to you.]

[Ezra, she'll never tell but you kind of have that effect on her as well. At the one word response, Liz doesn't take offense or find herself bothered at all. In fact, since the answer was positive, she has no complaints about it at all. :D ]
