She nods. "I'm starving," she says, as she starts off toward him, but before she gets to the kitchen and the food, she stops, letting him hold her. He is warm, and familiar, and hers, and she immediately stops shivering when she's in his arms. Her hand rests firm against his chest, and she sighs softly. She's tired. She feels so old compared to when Jake and Ava came along... Even older when she remembers when she was pregnant with and giving birth to Beth ( ... )

She nods slowly, remembering reading somewhere about lighting the candles. Her eyes close and she soaks in his warmth for a long few moments, before the two of them move over to light the candles together, Puck explaining everything to her as they go. She is warmer now, because of him, and her hands don't shake as she lights the candles. It really is ridiculous, and Quinn wonders if it's the hormones, because the house would ordinarily be too hot by her standards.
"You're welcome," she whispers to him, turning now that her hands are free to embrace him again. She tenses suddenly in his arms as a familiar tightness moves through her abdomen unexpectedly. "Oh, God!" she exclaims, her hand going to her belly quickly.
