glad to have you as part of the group. I fully support country living. my beau and I just moved into our country-house-with-training-wheels, a 2200 square foot house on two acres. I was just at home depot getting garden stuff. I can't wait til i've got fresh strawberries on hot summer nights.

we've had a few unexpected hassles but on the whole, I'm loving it. we have so much space, so many possibilities and so many options. At this point, we've only been here about a month but short of something insane happen, I'm definitely back to being a country girl. I'm a vermonter by birth so it's a familiar thing to me. the boy's even loving it, which was a big hurtle. the next step is gardening. that starts this weekend! so exciting!

Gardening is something I'm trying to learn this year! I was so not-domestic, but I guess having the baby has made the nesting instinct come out in me. I want to do all the "old-fashioned" stuff. :P We're doing our veggies this year, so I'm hoping for a good enough turnout to can some of them.
