longest training run EVER

It was a very slow fourteen miles, but fourteen miles nonetheless.  I treated the last mile more like a cool-down, walking a good part of it and then taking the rest at a slow jog.  I finished 13 in 2:45; and the 14 in 3:00 ( Read more... )

I have happy memories of running with you =), so awesome you've kept it up and pushed forward! Half marathon, I'm so impressed! Maybe you'll be in NYC sometime soon?

Your lj updates keep me motivated - seriously. I haven't run in forever (well, sporadically over the last couple months, but I've been bad about it) and now I'm back down to my 3-milers from 7ish.. Keep posting! Maybe I'll keep running...

Wow. Really. It's so good to hear that they are people out there who are really motivated to push themselves, because I for one, am terrible at it.

You should be proud of yourself. That's quite the achievement.
