So, if Germany doesn't work out then I can always move to Boston. I got an email earlier today about a prof. at Boston University looking for a MSc or PhD student in geochemistry next year. So I say, "why not, I'll send him an email." He gets back to me about 9pm with this

haha. that's awesome. it's almost as good as the advisor who e-mailed me back saying he didn't know if he could work with me because he was an OSU alum. scientists are weird.

leigh would be so jealous. her whole goal in life is to get back to Boston. I'm not sure why... I didn't much like new england.
